Every December, Jackie hosts a festive meal for her extended family to enjoy, before everyone is scattered in smaller groups for Christmas day. This is perfect for getting everyone together to share gifts and get in the festive spirit before the big day, and it ends up being just as special as the 25th. For the last few years, Jackie has hired Hog Roast Reading to cater for the occasion, leaving her to make the most of the day with her family. She knows that our catering managers, James and Roy, are great at what they do, which is why she has hired us again for 2024! Our team looks forward to this event and we take pride in our repeat customers, especially when it comes to providing a menu for their family.
In preparation for this event, the Hog Roast Reading team will arrive at Jackie’s home and prepare a festive menu for 25 guests to enjoy, including young children. The star of this menu is our whole-roasted turkeys, which are cooked to perfection to ensure that they stay moist and tender. The sliced turkey is served with all the traditional Christmas trimmings, including roasted potatoes, pigs in blankets, glazed peas and carrots, Brussels sprouts, and homemade gravy. Overall, this menu always goes down a treat, since it has so many different dishes for the guests to enjoy, allowing everyone to create a delicious meal.
