That’s exactly the approach one couple took when they booked Hog Roast Earley recently. The day after their wedding, they hosted a relaxed lunch for 90 guests, giving everyone a bit of extra breathing room to enjoy the afterglow together.
Hog Roast Earley was delighted to be part of it, serving up our signature hog roast for the occasion. Guests piled soft buns high with pulled pork, sage and onion stuffing, a splash of applesauce and a scattering of crackling on top for good measure. We added some colour to the table too, with a tomato and mozzarella salad, mixed salad, coleslaw, and a mix of sweet potato and classic fries – plus a few sauces on hand for dunking.
Veggies and vegans weren’t forgotten either – Hog Roast Earley’s famous grilled vegetable kebabs loaded with courgette, bell peppers, onions, optional halloumi, tzatziki and warm flatbreads, made sure everyone had something worth digging into.
By the end of it, the couple had achieved exactly what they’d hoped: a post wedding luncheon that felt unhurried, relaxed, and genuinely theirs to enjoy.
