So when a client got in touch recently asking Hog Roast Slough to handle catering for 100 guests at one of these corporate get-togethers, we jumped at the chance. Our catering manager James stayed involved throughout, always on hand to tweak the menu and answer any questions the client had along the way.
Having that level of support meant the client went into the day feeling genuinely confident everything would run smoothly – and they weren’t wrong to feel that way. Hog Roast Slough turned up on site hours before the party kicked off, giving our team plenty of time to prepare a full hog roast with all the trimmings, including sage and onion stuffing, applesauce and crackling, as well as grilled vegetable kebabs with optional halloumi and BBQ-pulled jackfruit burgers for anyone going meat-free. To finish the spread, we also put together a mixed salad and gourmet coleslaw, served up in wooden bamboo bowls alongside fresh rolls, wraps and more condiments than most people knew what to do with.
The client was chuffed to see everything piping hot and ready to go just in time for their requested serving time of 2pm. No delays, no last-minute scramble and absolutely no stress. Before long, plates were piled high with hog roast sandwiches or the meat-free alternatives, and it wasn’t just full stomachs that came from all that goodness. Once people are properly fed and comfortable, they tend to relax into the day and that’s exactly what happened here, with colleagues and families who barely knew each other chatting away like old friends within the hour.
