Turn 60 In Style With Hog Roast Sherfield on Loddon!

Hog Roast BerkshireHelping people get the absolute most out of their events is what really drives us here at Hog Roast Sherfield on Loddon. Whatever you’re celebrating, be it a wedding, a long-overdue family reunion or a milestone birthday, we’re here to bring some proper flavour to the occasion with menus that are bold, fun, and, frankly, hard to stop eating.

Over the past thirty-odd years, we’ve made our mark on celebrations right across Berkshire, leaving behind a trail of very happy clients, the most recent of whom celebrated a 60th birthday with us on the 13th of September. With 60 guests to feed and a proper milestone to honour, they came to us asking for one of our most requested menus: the Southern Slow Roast.

Heavily inspired by the rich, soulful flavours of America’s Deep South, this phenomenal spread is an instant crowd pleaser. With something for everyone, you never have to worry about guests going hungry or feeling left out, which is what sealed the deal for this customer, who wanted to make sure everyone on the guest list – including those fussy foodies – had something tasty to sink their teeth into.

When the day arrived, Hog Roast Sherfield on Loddon was first on scene, using our trusty grill to fire up a trio of meats, comprising Texan-inspired beef brisket, Cajun spiced chickens and Louisiana sticky pork ribs that ended up so tender, they practically slid off the bone. As for the non-meat-eaters, we had just the thing to keep them occupied with bright and colourful grilled vegetable kebabs served with tzatziki dip, sweet chilli and flatbreads.

A top-tier combination of Greek salad, homemade gourmet coleslaw and creamy potato salad, served alongside a lineup of punchy sauces, added an extra bit of flair to the whole spread, letting every guest build their dream plate – sometimes twice, depending on how hungry they were feeling.

By the end of the night everyone was raving about Hog Roast Sherfield on Loddon and honestly, if that’s not the mark of a successful birthday bash, we’re not sure what is.
