favourite pastime

Hog roasting was a favourite pastime of ours that turned into a full time job and one that has went on to become a worthy and profitable business. Hog roast hire have been established for over ten years and this weekend was our tenth anniversary we had planned to celebrate but we got a wedding booking and our booking had to come first! In such high spirits as we arrived at the venue well it isn’t every day that you are ten! And catering for a lovely wedding, double celebration three pigs, forty chickens and fifty joints of beef with vegetables and all the trimmings Hog Roast Hire had made lots of food and we didn’t stop for hours chopping and shredding and roasting we get so focused on our work that the heat really doesn’t get to us. The bridal party arrived looking sensational and we sprung into action we always do our utmost to make everyone feel at ease and we love nothing more than chatting to all the guests and making them feel special and we do that with every single guest and we think it makes a difference too! the wine was flowing and good food was going down well and all were in such a good mood we sat and watched the wedding speeches and they were very emotional and we were stunned when the groom wished us a happy tenth birthday! We were in shock and all looked at each other and the chef had a cheeky smile on his face and yes he had told them oh the happy birthday really made our day and to be honest we were that busy we almost forgot it was our birthday we said our good byes and headed back home the sun was still shinning and we all headed back to the office for a glass or two of champagne and a slice of cake that we had made for us what a lovely day and we look forward to our eleventh year in business and all the joys that we have to look forward too!
