The grilled vegetable kebabs (with optional halloumi) were just as popular as the hog roast – especially paired with flatbreads, a cooling tzatziki dip and a sweet chilli sauce that had a bit of a kick. It meant everyone had something they actually wanted to eat, rather than just making do.
And the reaction? Exactly what you’d hope for. People couldn’t help but return for seconds, compliments flowed all night long and the atmosphere in general was just buzzing with excitement.
