Earlier this month, we stepped in to help a client cater their daughter’s christening. With 50 guests on the list and a fair mix of dietary needs to juggle, the client was over the moon to have us on board, knowing it meant one less thing to worry about.
Together, we built a menu around our namesake hog roast, cooked low and slow until beautifully tender, with grilled veggie kebabs and BBQ-pulled jackfruit buns on hand for the vegetarians and vegans in the group, so nobody felt like an afterthought. To make sure every plate could be tailored exactly how each guest wanted it, Hog Roast Caversham also put together a solid lineup of sides, including tomato and mozzarella salad, mixed salad, coleslaw and a mix of sweet potato and traditional fries, served with salt, vinegar and Sauce Shop sauces for guests to help themselves.
