Stephanie was first impressed with the hassle-free booking process offered by Hog Roast Lambourn. As a new parent juggling endless responsibilities, simplicity and efficiency were paramount, and our team ensured a seamless experience from start to finish. The ongoing assistance from our dedicated catering managers, Roy and James, further eased Stephanie’s journey, providing attentive support and addressing her enquiries to ensure a personalised experience.
On the day of the event, Hog Roast Lambourn, as punctual as always, arrived well in advance, providing ample time to not only prepare the selected Alfresco Menu but also to present it in a visually appealing manner – after all, we eat with our eyes first!
The feast that unfolded instantly captured the hearts of Stephanie and her 75 guests. The main attraction was the whole-roasted free-range pig, adorned with crackling, stuffing, and applesauce. Complementing this centrepiece were grilled vegetable and halloumi kebabs served with wraps, tzatziki dip, and a tangy sweet chilli sauce. As for the sides, a selection of bamboo wooden bowls showcased our homemade coleslaw, brightly coloured salads, and roasted new potatoes, presented alongside baskets of rolls and an array of condiments.
Each of the dining tables, which had been adorned with crisp white linen, featured charming charcuterie boards at their centre. These boards displayed an exquisite assembly of the finest Italian meats, cheeses, and artisanal breads, infusing the event with an added layer of elegance.
As the grand finale, our handmade individual chocolate tortes, rich and decadent, proved a perfect treat for chocolate enthusiasts, while the handmade individual cheesecakes offered a creamy filling on a light and crunchy biscuit base.
