A sentiment evidently shared by some of our customers, as James and Roy of Hog Roast Thatcham’s were invited out to cater for a very special 40th birthday party this past month. With it being summer a barbecue is the standard option for such an occasion, but this customer liked to look on the spicier side of life for this 40th and instead opted for the heat and flavour of our very special southern slow roast menu.
This is a menu that we love creating for guests, whatever the occasion may be. It’s got that something different to it that makes each and every event we cater it at feel even more special. It is a menu that takes inspiration from the smoky and hot barbecues of the American South, where the very hottest of chilli peppers can be found. The Hog Roast Thatcham team were very happy with the results from this 40th birthday service, and evidently too were our guests who took to every single dish served with aplomb, making sure to offer up their special thanks for our staff members and foods after the fact again, too. But we just brought the sizzle, the rest was already there with our very special birthday guest!
