Hog Roast Theale – Easter Celebrations

Recently, Hog Roast Theale was invited to serve up some lovely food at a charming local pub as part of their Easter celebrations. Suzanne had called us to book us in and as she has used our catering services many times in the past, we guessed that she wanted our scrumptious hog roast rolls to be featured at her event and she certainly did. However, this time she also wanted some extra food to be served, including several salads and a heap of baked potatoes. We can provide a variety of dishes for your party or event, including alternative options for vegetarian, vegan or gluten-free guests. Plus with advance notice, we can ensure that all your guests are catered for, no matter their dietary needs.

On Easter Monday, our team headed to the pub venue to set up our hog roast Theale machines and serving tables underneath our gazebo, and then set to work preparing the meat to be roasted. For this event, Suzanne asked for two extra-large hogs, as she was expecting plenty of customers to feast on our tasty pigs in buns and scrummy salads, and there were dozens of jacket potatoes to be cooked inside the hog roast machines too. These would not only feed any veggie guests (as the potatoes are cooked separately to the meat), but they would serve as extra food for the carnivores too.

Nearer to the time of service, while the hogs were sizzling away, we got on with slicing the bread rolls and preparing several large salads dishes, including ones with fresh green leaves and cherry tomatoes, a pretty carrot and orange salad with a sesame dressing, and plenty of coleslaw to go around. Finally, these two hogs were cooked to perfection and the baked potatoes were fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside, and all the food was ready to be devoured by dozens of Suzanne’s hungry pub customers.
