Our dynamic duo, catering managers James and Roy, took charge of the day – and as always, they nailed it. With sixty hungry guests to feed by noon, they rolled up their sleeves, set up the cooking station, and got that free-range hog sizzling away on our trusty HogMaster in record time. As the meat slow-roasted over several hours, the smells filled the air with the kind of aroma that make it impossible not to drool.
Meanwhile, the team whipped up fluffy sage and onion stuffing, a bowl of fresh applesauce, plus crisp sides of mixed salad and gourmet coleslaw. But we didn’t stop there – because inclusivity is always on the menu! For the vegan guests, Hog Roast Newbury prepared BBQ pulled jackfruit drenched in smoky hickory sauce, tucked into gluten-free or wholemeal buns, and topped with plant-based slaw. Even the meat lovers were blown away!
Everything was served on eco-friendly wooden plates to match the laid-back vibe the client wanted – simple, stylish, and sustainable. The result? Smiles all around, full bellies, and a team that felt genuinely appreciated.
