A Berkshire based charity hosted a fundraising ball earlier this month, which funds going towards those in need in the local community. A ball is a great way to raise funds and the charity was eager to provide a great meal for the guests and to enjoy an evening of luxury and style. For the catering, our catering manager Roy was asked to provide a formal dining package for the guests, with enough to feed 120 guests. On the day of the event, the Hog Roast Arborfield team arrived early to prepare for the 6:00 pm mealtime. We began by plating the canapés, which were served as the guests arrived. The canapés included mini fish and chips, duck breast, and smoked salmon, which were each presented beautifully. Canapés set a formal tone for the evening and welcome the guests to the luxurious event.
Once everyone was seated, the guests were served with a classic Hog Roast Arborfield main course of slow-roasted pork with all of the trimmings. This included sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, fresh chips, and tasty seasonal vegetables.
For the dessert, we served a selection of gourmet desserts, including profiteroles and sticky toffee pudding. The desserts were presented beautifully and tasted exceptional. This was a great way to end the menu and prepare the guests for an evening of entertainment.
