Hog Roast Bray Helped A Long-Time Client Celebrate His 75th Birthday!

Hog Roast Bray was thrilled to visit one of our most loyal clients, Eric, on Monday afternoon, after we had been hired by his wife, Linda, to serve one of our phenomenal spreads at his 75th birthday party!

Our relationship with Eric has spanned over a decade, which has seen our team gladly cater for birthday parties for the client and his other family members, Christenings, baby showers and even his granddaughter’s wedding a few years ago, which Eric had kindly offered to arrange on the couple’s behalf. Ten years on, and we’re delighted to say that Hog Roast Bray is still Eric’s go-to catering provider, which is something we are incredibly proud of as it tells us we’re doing something right!

For this event, however, Eric, who is usually heavily involved in planning family parties, was kept completely in the dark! His wife, Linda, wanted to take control of things for a change and give Eric a break from organising events, so she approached Hog Roast Bray in secret and asked for our catering manager, Roy’s help with finding the ideal menu for the occasion.

hog roast Bray Having a strong history with the client made it incredibly easy for Roy to find the perfect menu for this event: the Alfresco Menu. Featuring the traditional hog roast that Roy knows and loves, plus an Italian antipasti platter of deli meats, cheeses, artisan breads, olives, sun dried tomatoes, balsamic vinegar and extra virgin olive oil, this feast is perfect for bringing people together.

In addition to the hog roast, this extremely popular menu includes a meat-free option that’s suitable for vegetarians and vegans, a yummy potato dish, freshly-made salads and our homemade gourmet coleslaw, followed by the choice of two desserts – Linda had opted for our delicious profiteroles and rich chocolate torte to satisfy chocoholic Eric’s sweet tooth!

On the day of the party, Hog Roast Bray surprised the client with this spectacular spread, and he couldn’t have been more delighted! As always, he and his family were amazed by the depth of flavours created by our caterers, which made the celebration even more memorable for everyone who attended.
