Hog Roast Fleet Helped A Corporate Client Celebrate International Women’s Day With A Lush Lunch!

As you may already know, it was International Women’s Day recently (March 8, to be precise), and observing the global holiday, which aims to promote and celebrate the achievements of women both past and present, Hog Roast Fleet was called in to cater for a corporate lunch!

Our client on this occasion was entrepreneur and CEO Catherine, who runs a successful eCommerce business from an office that is local to us, which made Hog Roast Fleet’s caterers even more perfect for this job.

At the time of booking the event, Catherine had discussed with our catering manager, Roy, her plans of celebrating this year’s International Women’s Day in style. And wanting to thank her small band of female staff members for all of their hard work, she was looking to lay on a delicious buffet for them to enjoy.

hog roast Fleet Our team, as always, was up for the challenge, and for this event, Roy had suggested our Alfresco Menu. Right away, the client agreed that this feast was spot on and matched the brief perfectly, as it offers a traditional slow-roasted pig with all the trimmings, plus Italian charcuterie boards that are overflowing with a range of cold cut meats, cheeses, olives and sundried tomatoes, artisan bread, breadsticks and condiments. In addition to all of that, this gorgeous spread also includes a choice of freshly made salads, a potato dish, a veggie/vegan alternative and two tasty dessert options to finish. Yum!

Loving everything about this menu, Catherine had immediately selected it for her event, and when International Women’s Day arrived, Hog Roast Fleet travelled to the client’s workplace early in the morning, where they set to work by roasting the pig, tossing the salads, grilling the veggie skewers and preparing the handmade cheesecake and profiteroles for pudding.

When Roy and the crew finished cooking, the food looked sensational and smelled delicious, which impressed Catherine and her staff as soon as they entered the cafeteria. Even more impressive than that, though, was the flavours, which were so tasty that the guests happily topped up their plates several times after polishing off their first plateful.
