But as busy as we are the rest of the year, nothing quite compares to how busy we are in the autumn and winter months. With plenty to celebrate at this side of the year, our team always has our hands full catering for all sorts of events and celebrations.
Lately, Halloween has been taking up a lot of our time and focus – but we couldn’t be more thrilled about it! Fancy dress costumes, lively parties and, more importantly, all of the tasty food are what make Halloween one of our favourite holidays of the year!
Celebrating spooky season 2022, Hog Roast Bramley has taken part in lots of exciting events and activities. Most recently, we helped out at a high school Halloween disco, which had been organised by an elected group of students.
The group had taken on board the wants of their fellow classmates before setting out to plan a scarily good evening of dancing, costume-wearing and delicious food! Handling the musical aspect, the students used funds raised from ticket purchases to hire a DJ; and knowing that the money left over was to be used for the catering, the group set out to find an affordable food service provider to accommodate their needs. Enter Hog Roast Bramley.
Our crew of first-class caterers were all too happy to help out at this event, and our catering managers, Roy and James, were quick to recommend our budget-friendly Classic Hog Roast Menu for the occasion. The pupils loved this menu plan as it not only features our famous spit-roasted pig option with crackling, stuffing and applesauce but also a selection of sides including mixed fries, salads and coleslaw. Plus, it incorporates a meat-free option of BBQ pulled jackfruit rolls, which was ideal for veggie and vegan guests.
After securing this menu, the pupils were delighted that they had a little bit of room left in their budget, so Hog Roast Bramley offered to include a grazing table of sweets, cakes and refreshments, which elevated the dining experience and tied everything together at this event.
